Cottage Description (Sleeps 1 – 7 people):

The Motel cottage has two bedrooms. One bedroom has a double bed and the other bedroom has one twin bed and one full size bed. A futon which sleeps two is located in the living room. There are two bathrooms, each with stand up showers. The kitchenette has a full size refrigerator, stove, table and chairs, microwave, coffee maker, and toaster. Dishes, silverware, pots and pans are provided. The cottage is equipped with air conditioning, heat, cable tv, WiFi, and daily maid service (seasonal).

Deposits

Bookings made by telephone or directly on our website will be charged a deposit equal to the first night rate plus 9% lodging tax. Balance is due upon arrival

Bookings of the Cottage require a 50% reservation deposit, which is taken upon booking. Final payment is due 14 days prior to arrival.

Bookings made through 3rd party online travel sites will be charged a deposit that is specified by the respective sites.

Cash payments are accepted. but you must have credit card on file.

Motel Policies and Fee details

• Check In Time: 3:00 pm
• Check Out Time: 10:00 am
• Rates based on 2 adults
• Children under 16 stay free (limit 2)
• Max 4 per guest room (additional fee $20 per night/per person)
• Rates subject to Maine lodging tax of 9%
• Minimum stays may be required (3 nights for Cottage and holiday weekends)
• US Currency, Visa and MasterCard, Travelers Checks and Money Orders accepted
• Sorry, no pets
• Late arrivals must call before 8:00 pm
• Must be 21 years of age to reserve and check in with valid credit card
• Pool area for registered guests only
• All visitors must register at office and be accompanied by a registered guest
• No transfer of registered guests rooms to another party (no sublets)
• No transfer of parking permits to unregistered guests
• 1 car per room – sorry, we do not have parking for extra vehicles. Cottage 2 cars
• ALL ROOMS ARE NON-SMOKING $250 fee will be charged if smoking in rooms
• Smoking in designated areas ONLY away from the building

Reservation Deposit

A valid credit card is required to make reservations. We accept Visa and MasterCard, travelers checks and money orders. The balance is due upon arrival for the entire reservation. Sorry, personal checks are not accepted.

Cancellation Policy

A $ 50.00 cancellation fee will be charged after reservation has been created, up until 30 days prior to arrival date. Within 30 days of arrival, a cancellation fee of 1 night’s deposit will be charged. Within 7 days of arrival, a cancellation fee of 50% of the total reservation will be charged. Cancellations made within 72 hours will not be eligible for a refund.

Cottage Cancellation Policy 2022
A $150.00 cancellation fee will be charged after reservation has been created, up until 30 days prior to arrival date. Within 30 days of arrival, a cancellation fee of 50% of the total reservation will be charged. Within 14 days of arrival, a cancellation fee of 75% of the total reservation will be charged. Within 7 Days of arrival will not be eligible for a refund.

No-Shows apply to any or all guests who have a reservation at the Island View Motel, who do not appear on the reservation date of arrival, and who do not provide a proper cancellation notification. No-Shows will be charged for the entirety of their stay.

By giving us your credit card, you are giving us permission to charge your card to confirm your reservation. A confirmed reservation means we guarantee to hold a room(s) for the requested time period and the party reserving the room guarantees to pay.
